Your figure just keeps improving!

I can do a two week extension. Might take me a little longer to report the completion of the campaign.

An extension would be great thanks.

I’ve finished my two figures. I gave them a wash, then a flat coat when that was dry. After assembling them, I used Tamiya Smoke for the sunglasses.

Now I just need to fit them in their respective hatches on the TUSK Abrams. The loader I’m pretty sure will fit, but the TC is an open question. When I tried earlier (before both arms were on), it was a very tight fit.

Karl187, thanks for the compliment. I’m glad you liked the Easter Egg on the base.

CKPlasticModels, outstanding work on your German soldier. The paintwork is top notch.

phil2015, great job on your Panzershreck figure. I like the prone pose.

DeskJockey, your modern tank crew figures look great. Cool camo paintwork.

amoz02t, that’s a museum quality display. The figures, base, and local denizen are top notch.

bwilt, awesome mock up of your police breaching scene. Cool AFV too.

Tank_1812, thanks a billion for the time extension. I can enjoy the holiday and finish my last figure…stress free.

DeskJockey, terrific finish on your figures. The camo paintwork looks very realistic.

All caught up for now. Keep up the excellent work fellow hobbyists. Merry Christmas to all.

This is my 4th entry for the Xeno-Scum series. The Eldar are an ancient, highly evolved race that have no love for Mankind. I’m opting for the crew served weapon scene.

The kit comes with 5 options for heavy weaponry. I’m magnetizing them.

I had to rebuild the gun cradle to accommodate the magnets.

I’m only going to use 3 out of the 5 heavy weapons.

Starting work on the gunner figure. He has a cool controller unit on his arm.

Paintwork started on the weapons platform. I added a couple blast marks on the gun shield.

Painting the gunner figure. Vallejo acrylics are used throughout.

Guess that’s enough for now. Keep up the superb work everyone. Thanks for viewing. Comments and questions are welcomed.

Hi chaps, sorry I haven’t been able to contribute to this campaign but, I’ve been following it.
Some of the work on here is just outstanding!
Certainly making me reconsider doing some SF stuff and, also doing some modern US figures.
Keep it up lads! Looking forward to seeing the conclusion. Anyone sorted out an award yet?
Merry Christmas and a productive new year to everyone.

Nope. I would imagine last year’s award with a numeral 2 on it but open to ideas.

And cause everyone will ask, this was last year.

This is absolutely taking a liberty, as I’ve contributed little to this Group Build except a couple of fatuous remarks, but if I can knock something out during that extended period could it be included? I’d lost confidence in my capacity to get even a basic paint job on a figure, but over he last few days I’ve managed something I hope is half-way decent for another GB as it ended, and I’m annoyed with myself for not having even tried to participate here, particularly as I have a house full of lead and plastic in every scale from 6mm up. Even now I’m not sure what I’d do, but it would be a single fantasy item, 25mm/1:56th if mounted or 1:35th or larger if on foot…

Regards,

M
