She is looking smashing Russell! Glad you had a good holiday. I just got back from one myself and hoping the mojo kicks back in because all modelling desire has left the building right now (eyes the hulls on the work bench)

We did Ohau and Maui and it was well worth it. My only regret was that they had closed the boat out to Arizona due to some issue so we were not able to get out to her.

Last I heard, they hadn’t reopened the Arizona Memorial due to damage to the boat ramp.

Totally agree about the RAF/FAA conflict of interest: how it can possibly be a good idea to not have dedicated FAA fixed wing squadrons for the carriers is beyond the pale!

HMS Dauntless is ready to return to duty after completing the first in class Power Improvement Program, post sea trials.
It’s been six years since she was last on active duty.
