3D HEMTT A4 Conversion Parts in the Works

Printed today, tomorrow the engine and a other version of the cabin.
This is a kit version, all separate parts, I did not like it.
Glued 2 times my fingers together with superglue.
Tomorrow I try a cabin where the floor back wall and sides are printed in 1 piece.

Now I have to find time to build a A4.
Designing is 1 thing, making time to actually build something of myself is a whole other story.

Printed parts, engine already glued together.

It fits!!! (I know its a partially build A2, but the engine fits the frame)

Witdth is perfect according to me.

Yes, it stands tilted because I did not cut the tire stand on the Italeri kit.

Very happy with the result, can’t wait to build a version myself.

The complete kit:

The fan is a glue on, 1 piece missing because I left it on my desk.

And improved rimes for the Italeri kit:

10 piece set.

Comparison with the Italeri rims:

Better start looking for a Trumpeter kit now.
I think its going to be this kit:

Expensive box… going to need a sugar daddy with this kind of hobby.

Going to make a conversion set to turn it into a M1075 PLS or LVSR, I dunno yet… maybe both?
First adjusting the A4 set to fit it of course…

Is there need for a M978 pump station?

That looks great. Are you selling this yourself? It should fit the Trumpeter kit with minor mods. They are pretty close.

Yes, the old Pro Art one is long OOP, so none out there.

Alright, designing the pump also then.

3D-WILD.com does the print and shipping.
I only design and test-print for myself.

Going to design a few different fronts also:

We can’t exclude the USMC can’t we.

The M1075 PLS

And the dashboard seems to be different then the other versions.

Looking good. Do you plan on making the third wheel/axle as well? The front two are TAK4 suspension, but the rear three are still the same as on earlier M1074 PLSs; center is airbag cantilever, with the last two still being the springs and bar style.

From the Oshkosh PLS site.
All PLS variants have the same rear tridem unit which consists of a single Hendrickson-Turner air-sprung drive axle (3rd axle) and a Hendrickson RT-400 leaf-sprung AxleTech tandem (4th and 5th axles) on which the rearmost axle contra-steers. On PLS A1 variants the front AxleTech/Oshkosh axles are sprung using Oshkosh’s TAK-4 fully independent coil spring suspension. The original PLS had a Hendrickson RT-400 leaf-sprung tandem front suspension.”

will the clear parts from trumpeters kits work with these conversions?

They should, if not I’ll adjust so they wil.
Got some Trumpeter kits on my wishlist, ordering them soon.

And I’m also looking to buy Italeri or trumpeter vinyl tires if someone has them for sale.
