Which one’s pink?

I got the paint on it. Desert tan above and neutral gray below. I can see why they called it pink - it looks more pink than it does in this photo.
Hmmm. I don’t think I’ll be finishing in time even for the extension. Gloss it today, decals tomorrow, gloss and flat Friday? I don’t think I have that much free time…
#me to,… i had a little accident with the nose strut and as it’s,… “lost” (in to the carpet monster i guess) anyway it will have to be a rebuilt, i’m not going to make it. The medal is awesome!!
Top decals on. Two stars needed on bottom wing. Kitsworld … nice decals. Will need a little cutting of clear over gaps in tail and a little setting solution to snuggle them down. I’ll keep posting here until i finish but not tonight.

Looking great. What pink did you use for it? Just wondering because I picked up the recent Airfix B-25 with the desert colours and the pink is an awkward one to find. Was thinking of Vallejo’s US Pink.
I used MRP 243 US desert sand. In the pic with the decals on the model, the pink comes out more, at least on my screen.
Odd how a paint color can be motivating but I’m thinking again about LRDG vehicles…

Finally finished this and glad to be done with it. It did not end well really. None of the final bits fit together well - the bits inside the turret didn’t really fit or align. There was a lot of taking apart, repainting, reassembling, filing, repainting, reassembling. I’m glad to be done with it. The final looks well enough, and I love the pink scheme. But it’s not a kit I would look forward to doing again.

This is the new Airfix isn’t it? I’ve somehow acquired 3 of these so I hope I don’t have any problems.
The front end goes together very well though be careful if you use the machine gun that sticks through the front glass (dryfit to see how it all fits). This is always the part where I worry about fit and fill but it was quite nice.
The turrets were … special. I would think dryfitting would make it clear, but I thought that it did but it didn’t really. I got it all together eventually, but I’m not sure where it went wrong.
It looks nice on the shelf, so I guess that’s a good end of the story.
