Beat starting point for desert storm M2A2?

Yes the Tamiya M2A2 kit (35152) is the best kit to start with for one in Desert Storm, with Jacques’ running gear update. You could also get his hull and turret sets to dress it up more.

M2/M3 Bradley Reference

Some info on the different Bradley kits available. Tamiya came out with the original M2 IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) and M3 CFV (Cavalry Fighting Vehicle) kits in 1985. The M2 has a partial interior for the driver’s area and rear crew compartment along with interior placards and markings decals. If you want to go the backdating route, the Magic Factory M2A2 ODS-SA Ukraine kit is the best starting point. You will have to get new sprockets and tracks for it though, and leave off a bunch of parts to backdate it. You will also have to replace the front lower glacis to an earlier version with split armor (as in the Tamiya M2A2 kit) as well.

I think so. I looks pretty easy to backdate it to a new-build M2A2 ODS from the late '90s to about 2008ish. By that time, most units had switched to M2A3s. From just the pics, if you leave off the Driver’s Viewer camera parts on the front slope and some of the bars protecting the driver’s hatch, it becomes a standard, new build M2A2 ODS.
