He always shares great photos.

Some progress done.
I made a small base, I still need to finish painting all the rocks and add some grass and weeds.
On the home stretch, just need to finish the stowage and a few more tiny things.

That is very very nice! I love the worn look on the side skirts! And can’t really see it properly, but are those bits of rock on top of your front fenders?

That looks absolutely Brilliant Ezra.

@Panzer_modeler great looking Dalet.

My Jordanian vehicle is assembled and primed. Stowage will be kept at a minimum.

I also started detailing my Olifant, which is the third and last model I will build for this GB and the reason I am participating actually (to find the motivation to finish it).

Looking good Piotr. :+1: :+1:

Just a bit of rivetcounting: the mantlet cover needs to cover the machinegun bulge on your Shot Cal. Perhaps some papertissue with a bit of white glue might do the job. :wink: :wink:

Are you planning to add the plastic lip under the cover in the turret front?

I’ll try to cover this bulge with something … what kind of plastic lip are you talking about ??

Which centurion will this cover fit for?

Under the mantlet there should be some part of the turret visible

The cover is for the Australian used version in Vietnam war, Centurion Mk6 or Mk9 and so on. The IDF ones had the one with the maching gun bulge covered, and later Shot Kal variants had one that covered only the gap around the mantlet.

Now I can see what you mean…fact-there is a crack there … :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
And with that cover, Def is misleading - they sell it as dedicated to the Centurion IDF . :thinking:.

A little progress is better than no progress Piotr… Looks good :+1:
