That looks great Bert, totally transformed it with that cam scheme…
Very nice mate
Thanks Johnny and I love that dirty bottom of yours!!
Great painting result for both of you!
The AM F3 is looking great with such an original camo.

I’ve decided to go ahead and join up with Panda’s M109A7 Paladin. It has some errors and is more akin to one of the developmental vehicles instead of a production version, but I’ll give it a shot. First thing I did after taking this picture earlier today was to take out the instructions and mark various corrections on them.
Nice! Glad to have you aboard.
I really like this kit. Any issues on the build?
The biggest ones I encountered were the supports for the shield and the small hooks at the front. Those 2 last ones broke at cutting them from the sprue
Aloha All,
Some nice cannons in this thread.
I’ve started my Das Werks 1/35th US M1918 155mm Howitzer
I failed to properly anneal the PE and had a difficult time bending this piece. I’m not particularly good with PE anyway, so this was pretty frustrating. It looks like someone went along side the gun bashed the thing with a hammer.
It’s an interesting kit. Although not bad overall, there are some fit problems. The tires are built up of multiple disks and the registration tabs and slots don’t align, so I carved out the tabs and guessed based on the top view. Often, on other parts, the pin or tab seems to be the same size as the hole or slot, without any tolerance built in. So, I had to shave a lot the get things to fit together.
The instructions do not include any side view drawings, so some alignments were a guess.
Happy Modeling,
Zon
I decided to change the wheels. Both versions are included.
I mostly did so, as I was inspired by this picture ( yes I know that one with the simple wheels is next to it, in the background, but these look much more impressive)
I also started with the base:
And got me some figures to add…
Hi all
If the Administrators accept, I would like to join this GB.
I will build a Spanish M109 that operated in the Sahara.
Best regards
Chiefgunner
you bet
ok thanks.
Welcome onboard, Luis. Looking forward to follow your build.
I am joining with a simple and nostalgic build - the Revell reboxing of the Matchbox Wespe. One of the first builds I remember doing as a kid. Build in our summer house decades ago. Memories
I believe I built that myself probably 40+ years ago. My brother and I were building opposing armies of Airfix men and needed the accompanying vehicles.
Very recognizable. I did the same with my brother…
I believe I had a Jagdpanther by Fujimi in the same scale.
