Indeed it was, January 23 to be precise. And Michael (Cosimodo) completed his over a week earlier!

Apologies gentlemen, I’ve been somewhat off my game this week, but I have rectified the previous post now.

Onwards and upwards!

Maybe I’ll get myself organized one of these days & finish up the 1974 Kenworth K100 or the 1949 Mercury Club Coupe police car. Time will tell.

Not much is happening in this garage i think

I will give a bump to the thread… I will try to finish one of mine which is under wraps for ages…

I screwed up and trying to fix. Glod for control arm hinges… Really… :joy:

Keep the posts coming. Show us the progress…

Still working on the my OLD Nissan Calsonic Skyline… This project has been shelved for 5 years or so… Been moving with me to 3 continents in a box during this past years… Some of the bits /shell was painted 5 years back…Took some pictures to check areas of correction and possible damage during all these travels… What do you think? Can I correct the overspray / chipping and move on?
The Garage Queens 2021 ends in 3 months…

Other small bits and pieces…

Thanks for watching…Have a Great Day

Absolutely! You’ve got a nice finish on the body, this one deserves a bit of extra attention to get it out of the Garage and on to the display shelf, keep going.

@AussieReg - Thanks for the encouragement. And the group build is the another factor that motivated me to attempt to move this to finish line. I will keep at it will post the progress…

@Tank_1812 - Thanks again :wave: Will do…

I am calling this complete. It is really sad that all my decals have gone bad during the past 7 years of storage. Tried a few of them using various soak time, coating with clear before soaking, coating with microset, Mr.Markset… But nothing seemed to work. So decided not to decal at all…

Eight years, a long time to messing with this. So that is that. Time to open a brand new kit. No more tinkering with partial built for some time…

Took some picture. Did not even cleaned it well in a hurry to toss it in the showcase and be done with it… Feeling nostalgic though to finally complete it after 8 year… decal or no decal… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:  Thanks for the group build which gave me some hope of finishing it. Thanks again :+1:

@Mukund - Well done getting this build finished, it’s great that you found the motivation here in GQ21 because that’s the whole idea of this annual event.

It’s a shame about the decals, I’m sure you could find an after-market set if you really wanted to go the extra mile, but you have a very nice clean street machine there on display.

Thanks for sharing your final stages here with us, hopefully you can join in with other Auto builds in the near future.

Cheers, D
