Nice show, looks busy. Not alot of venders but quite a few people selling their “extra kits”.
Looks like a good show, from the kits to the venue. ![]()
It was a fun show. It was fun to meet up with other modellers.
Thank you for sharing all of the photos. The John Deere hay baling diorama brings back a lot of childhood memories from life on the ranch. ![]()
From what I understand, alot of that display was scratch built.

I went to the “Hope It Don’t Snow Show” yesterday . . . a last-minute tag-along. (My wife decided that she needed to get some things done, so she ‘encouraged’ me to take the trip down to Rochester.) I snagged a few pictures of some models that caught my eye, so I thought I’d share them here.

Here is a SKIF (SKIF!!) T-55 with an interior — apparently built straight from the box. I had no idea SKIF did any interior kits!
I thought this M18 GMC was very nicely done. I regret that I didn’t take more than one picture of this.
This is the AFV Club NM-116. In the 1970s, the Norwegians upgraded some of their M24 Chaffee Light Tanks with a French 90mm gun, new fire control system, and a new Detroit Diesel 6V-53T engine (among other modifications) to give the vehicle a new lease on life. The NM-116s served in the Royal Norwegian Army until the early to mid-1990s, filling in as light tank destroyers and reconnaissance vehicles. There is an interesting Minnesota connection for this vehicle: the firm NAPCO, of Hopkins, Minnesota, received the license to market these same modifications to other nations.
