I really don’t like this thread, I think it’s cruel to make me think about how many “sleeping beauties” I have around … …not cool dude’s ,not cool… … plus now I remember a couple that I had deleted from my memory…
2 54mm Figurines from Beneito
1 Dragon Stug
2 Star Wars
1 WnW plane
…6…
1 Dragon Sherman…has become my Guinea pig to his detriment, his details are disappearing under layers of a bit of everything
When a build stalls for some reason there a two ways forward:
- Sit and stare at it and get frustrated for not being able to build anything
- Put it on the shelf for a while and start another build to get the joy back.
I try to build even if I can’t finish them (need to fix the compressor …).
Shelf queens waiting for the paint job …

You must have a lot of space!
@phil2015 sadly not as much as I want, I have all my finished builds and WIPs stuffed into one little display case. All my models are here except for the Snowberry and Schnellboot.

Ezra,
At the rate and speed you are building, you’re are going to need a bigger
cabinet soon!
Cheers,

Exaxtly my description of builds. At the moment, 2 AML’ s built, but unpainted. That means I have worked 2 M47’s, completing a campaign with one, and work on the next M47 for another. In the wings, yet another 2 M47’s, but they are shelved for the time being. A Pz IV shelf queen for another campaign. On top of all this, I’m looking at starting a BTR 60PB that will have a AML 90 turret, from Djibouti. Completing a kit is still an issue I suppose, but hey, I’m trying.
My number of kits in process has risen substantially. Hope to finish a lot of projects when it warms up and I,can airbrush again.
Winter Inventory of a dozen kits in process:
Tamiya Cromwell - needs flat coat touch up
Tamiya Pz II C - needs gloss coat
Tamiya T-55 - needs gloss coat
DML Pz IV F - needs gloss coat
DML T-34-85 - needs gloss coat
Tamiya Pz IV J - needs camo colors
Tamiya Pz IV H - needs camo colors
Tamiya King Tiger (I/P) - needs camo colors
Kitbash DML Imperial Pz IV F2 - needs upper hull completed, turret cupola & stowage box
Tamiya Panther G w/Jaguar interior - needs exterior of upper hull, turret & turret interior plus paint
Tamiya (new) KV-1 - needs turret & fenders completed

I thought I had issues with too many builds at once! I stand corrected.

I managed to get all those Pz III’s built except for the Bergepanzer, but it is actually starting to get paint down on it finally.
I SPY, JANES…I used to read those for hours at 13 years old. Probably could have run rings around 90% of any 1st year enlisties on weapon identification back then.
That book is one of the easiest ways to understand future geopolitics while watching who was buying what system.
