Nikos, sorry ask a bit more, the Baz kit, is that the MENG one with the mine roller ? And the 3D, is it the early or the late LIC ?
Lets do a summary:
MkIII Ramak: Hobbyboss hull, Legend resin turret
MkIII Baz: Meng Baz kit
MkIIID early: Hobbyboss with Meng bustle rack and some scratchbuilding
MkIIID late: Meng kit 3D Late no TS-025
Great, thanks Nikos … I like the look of this one - MkIIID late: Meng kit 3D Late no TS-025
Hi all
Some progress on my M3.
I’m sure @PiotrK can use those pictures for his Lance TEL thing. Very cool.
Fat Frog T130 tracks completed. 64 links per side. 63 is too tight and 65 is what the real thing uses.
Looks nice, I like the way you achieved the track sag, looks like the real one.
Also got a photo for you
Someone swiped the radiator cap!
Thanks.
I’ve bought a bunch of 3D printed M113 parts from that vendor. He makes really nice stuff.

Super!! Good photos are never enough!! I’m just wondering about the color of the rocket… Black??
Those are awesome! The main selector seems to be in the open position (i.e. safety off), but other than that, they’re perfect! They even have the magazine release button!
Judging by the first three photos I posted and the one below, your safest option is black body with dark green warhead. I have also seen full black, full green or green body and black head ones.
Plenty of choices
This thread is an amazing source of information all by itself! And of course I started my Magach 3 without remembering this GB… oops. It’s on the regular board (Dual M48’s).
I did happen to score the Amusing Hobby Sho’t though, so if I get one of the M48’s ready for paint soon, I’ll toss in with it.
If I remember, lol!
The Magach build stalled while I was waiting for the Takom Tracks. That was over two weeks ago and real life got in the way of bench time. Finished both runs yesterday and managed to get them painted today. Photos below show them test fitted. They look pretty good. Hope to get them weathered later tonight or tomorrow morning.
After the Magach shots are some photos of something else I’ve been working on. Not part of the campaign but IDF related.
There’s some amazing modelling happening in this thread! Let me add my own little efforts…
Here’s the Sherman “target tank” I’m modelling, based on a couple of excellent walkarounds I found online:
…and my tak, starting with an Italeri hull, Dragon suspension, MP Authnikit engine deck, and a bunch of Evergreen!
Great idea for a very unique build
Yeah it’s going to be a cool model. But every time I look at the photos I slip deeper into the rabbit-hole of AMS…
