Took the Magach to a show this weekend and got a gold.
Excellent… And rightly deserved. It was a cracking build and finish … well done
Thanks John. I was a bit surprised as I was worried that I had used the kit DS mantlet dust cover and was not real sure that it would pass muster.
Too right, you did! Well done!
Michael
Nice to get some ‘external’ recognition for a great build. Congratulations.
Well deserved, no question about it! She’s a beauty!
Hi mates, I call another one done! Happy to be part of this very interesting campaign with so many fine builds! Here is my S’aar of the Israeli Air Force
See you later
Peter
Excellent build Peter, and the colours on the cam look really nice… Then the yellow areas jump out at you … Cool contrasts
Sharp looking bird. I like the bright decals.
Very nicely done Peter. A nice splash of colour in the collection.
I feel your pain re the turret (and many other components) as I’m part way through a MiniArt T-55A. One question if you don’t mind. When you refer to an adjustable idler to help fit the tracks, do you mean just leaving the positioning of it until the track is fitted? Thanks.
Yes do not glue it into place. That way you can adjust it a bit to increase or decrease the track tension.
Very nice work, Peter! Love the ID panels.
Michael
Outstanding. Congratulations.
Yes, you can’t beat basic black…
Okay, some painting done on the Nagmachon:
Thanks again Nikos @gtdeath13 for the pics of the fire extinguishers and the internal pic of the Nagmachon. It helped me realise a couple of things - the red fitting(??) and that the kit has an ammo rack where the pic shows a spare MG barrel. I just left the kit as is.
It could be part (the sensor?) of the Spectronix automatic fire suppression system.
Thanks Israel.
Based on the cage armor, the photo shows the Doghouse variant anyway, so most likely you made the right call.
