IDF 76 Campaign

Sí, creo que está demasiado avanzado para calificar para esta campaña. ¡Pero nos encantaría ver algo nuevo tuyo! Empezamos el 14 de mayo.

Y lo siento por el mal español. Estoy usando el traductor de Google, me temo.

Count me in again for this one? Just need to choose something from my stash!

From the previous campaign wasn’t able to finish sketching for my 3d parts for the IDF BTR-50. This is perfect timing to also start on my other stash

Never done a group build but was just about to start working on the Achzarit - Early Hobby Boss kit. I am still putting the finishing touches on my workspace so this will give me the motivation to finish getting things setup and ready to build again.

Hello,

I’m in.

I plan to build the new power wagon from Ak interactive.

I plan on building the Hobby Boss Achzarit - Early and was wondering if this would work with it. IDF OWS Set for IDF AFVs

Decided I will end up doing the Merkava 4 LIC I have.

Will leave off the mine roller and just do the wagon.

It’s Independence Day in Israel, so we’re off!

My plan for this one:

This is a big box for a 1/48 jet fighter:

but it’s chock full 'o plastic!

Pretty much OOB…

except for new seats and an IsraDecal mask for the eagle head on the tail. The decal in the box just doesn’t match any paint I have for IAF sand, and it will look better this way.

Not starting immediately as I have this kit’s brother on the table. But it’s moving along well:

so hopefully not too long. The GWH kits are very nice indeed!

I’ve settled with this one…

I’ll go dig it out of the stash tonight and start on it.

I’m overdue to build an IDF aircraft… it’s been a few years since I last built one. Having recently built a couple of IDF vehicles, it’s time to increase my IAF… :smirk:

Going to give an Israeli modified BTR-152 a go. Some detail work inside, tool rack and stretcher outside and loads of gun mounts, but other than that I am hopeing for a relatively simple build. I have got some interesting markings to add to it, keep watching??

I’m in, hopefully to actually finish one. I have quite a few IDF subjects in the brain’s wait list but I’m thinking it’s been a while since I did the M-51 and I few some aftermarket goodies to play with too.

Now debating if i want to add a RUssian KMT-4 mine roller (from the Academy Merkava II kit) to the Takom Merkava Mk.2B would work…

This is (what I assume) a Merkava Mk.2B with a KMT-4 Mine Roller in real life. It’s a training variant, since it has the instructor’s chair on top.

This is the kit from where I’m getting the mine roller. It is obviously an early production Mk2, but I hope that the hull is the same dimensionally.

It should be close enough to work. That Academy hull is interchangeable with Tamiya’s Merk1 hull and it’s very, very close to the Takom hull. If I recall, the difference (aside from detail quality of course) is that the Tamiya hull is a very small amount shorter, widths were the same.

ALright; sounds promising. :+1:

I’m no stranger to cobbling stuff together. Last time, I attached the mine plow out of the Tamiya M1A1 Abrams kit to the hull of the USMC M60A1, and despite it was not dimensionally accurate, I made it work.
