Fuselage together on the Meng AH-64DI. So far, no complaints!

Looking good so far. I wish they had one in 1/48!

Yeah. Hasegawa does (did) one, but not at anything like this level of detail, and they generally miss some IDF modifications, even when it’s marketed as an IDF machine. This is a great kit so far. Hope I don’t regret saying that!

Yeah I found out about the Hasegawa AH-64D “Saraf “ kit about a month ago after seeing someone else’s Meng build. Having heard a bit about the Hasegawa kit I still wish Meng did one in 1/48. I was able to order the Isradecal conversion kit for the Saraf to use with the Hasegawa kit. I’ll still be watching your build. It looks great so far.

My 1967 Centurion is coming along nicely…

I have one saraf from hasegawa and one from meng, some details of the cockpit are always forget like little sceen, ventilations behind crew seat. I have ordered a AH-64 D block 2 late to complete my saraf.

I’ve never noticed the extra rails(?) on the turret before. I’m curious….

Someone sent me these pictures..

And on prime portal there is this Centurion, with a (much lower) railing on the turret..

And as I wanted to do something different than the Centurions you always see, I thought… why not?

It’s nearly ready for primer…

It looks like the high one may have been used for a sun shade.

Great progress. I’m still plugging along on the hull of mine. I’m setting the goal of completing one page of the instruction booklet in one session. So far, I’m a little short of that.

I got through step 18, pg 10 done tonight and my eyes hurt. The rear went okay but for some reason I couldn’t find the parts that make up the central headlight guards so I had to improvise. Other than that, it went okay, just tedious.

A few more steps and I can move on to the turret.

Tight fit in a tank. Being headless might help. No need for helmets either.

Hi! I’ve been watching this thread for a while and I was wondering if I could join in last minute, I’ve got a Chieftain Mk2 that I wanna make in a what if six day war IDF scheme.

Thanks!

(Also great builds everyone, I love the Sho’ts!:+1: )

This one’s open until May 1, so hop on board! An IDF Chieftain would be very interesting.

Thank you!

I’ll be sure to post about it soon!

Meanwhile, I’m lining up for IDF 78:

Hanuclause was very good to me this year!

Do need to get the AH-64 done first, though. Must concentrate.

I did a “what-if “ IDF Chieftain earlier this year, it was fun.
