Nice build Johnny. The mk4 is not my preferred one but yours looks very good.

@bwilt take note that the rockets do not fit well in their launch “tubes”. You’ll have to remove a tiny part at the bottom inside the launchers.

@Bison126 Thanks for the warning! Would it also be possible to do it the other way round? Remove something from each rocket?

@Johnnych01 looks good in the sun, almost like a different colour👍

When I built mine I removed the parts Q8 from each launcher. It can be done even after you assembled them. I know it because I had to do it

Ah, those little blocks that they made us add during building the launcher… got it, thanks!!

Namer has it’s base coat on, and first picture shows the difference with the primer..

I would like to do a 1973 M51 on the Golan for the Shermania 2025 campaign but am having a very difficult time finding any photos of those vehicles. I realize, of course, that folks were a little too busy at the time to take a lot of pictures, but if anyone has some they could share I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Meanwhile, the GWH 1/48 F-15I for this campaign progresses, if slowly due to my (in)famous inablity to concentrate.

I scanned these from Simon Dunstan’s book “The Yom Kippur War”. Hope they help.

Dang it I’m getting FOMO syndrome.

What is FOMO?

FOMO = ‘Fear Of Missing Out’, or so the young people tell me…

Had a long painting and drybrushing session last night, ready for “some” pictures?

The rocket system…

Upper and lower hull..

Tracks…

Mine roller…

Side skirts, sponsons, guns, idlers ans sprockets…

I used AK chipping colour and on some parts a bit of metal colour for the drybrushing.

And I know guns, mortar, running gear and ammo boxes should all be in the same colour as the tank itself, but I happen to like a bit of diversity in colour

Excellent progress Bert :+1:

Thanks Johnny!

Decided to cut up the skirts…

Got the wheels roughened up a bit…

And rubberised that panel of the rocketsystem…

Thanks Peter!

Got a good bit done on it, been working on this one the past couple of days, added cabling to the searchlights on each gun, added red accents, added some sand and dirt to wheels and suspension (which is all hidden behind the skirts), added most of the sub-constructions… and gave it a gloss coat (hence the ‘white’ reflection)..
