Got the mine rollers system finished…
And this is a BIG one. I’ve always wanted to build a D9 but the weathering this beast needs is out of my skills. Enjoy your build!
Olivier
I’m going to try to do a rather light weathering. A more advanced one is beyond my abilities too. I found this D9R in an exhibition at half its cost price and I have an off-topic question for you concerning the green used by the French army, what reference do you advise me? I still have to paint the VBCI that I started and the NATO green Tamiya or AK do not match
Looks great Bert … lovely detailing
Thanks! Found a picture of the wiring in one of the Puma threads on the forum.
And time for a dry fitting session, sponsons, upper structure, weapons, roller and carpet layer not glued on yet…
And an idea…
2mm thick, 8 by 18 mm big… would that be about the right size? And how many of these ‘mine shoes’ would they normally carry along?
Thanks! That saves me the trouble of fabricating those straps on each of them
Looking great Bert
Thats a big old block there … looks massive already !!
Time to call the Merk 4 complete…
I just got the antenna’s on, so did a few quick images…
Really nice build, pretty much OOB apart from a few tweaks … Highly recommended kit by MENG…
Will do a few more images out in the sun tomorrow
Outstanding job with the build. It looks amazingly detailed.
That is a great looking Merkava, nice extra details!!
After a 2 hour priming session I have the Namer and the Puma primed..
Used the same colour on both but different outcome due to the difference in plastic colour.
And yes I know this colour is meant for 61-73, but it is just primer
Many thanks Reynier, much appreciated buddy.
and thanks also to Bert @bwilt — and your Namer and Puma are both equally as impressive … some lovely detailing on those
