oh yeah, that’s right. I have that kit already… maybe
I’ve been wanting to build the F-86 Saber Jet ( Burgess Meredith) from the movie, the last chase. And actually started on one a couple of months ago, except that the project went south one. So I ended up scrapping it. MAYBE I will re- attempt it later this coming year.
Don’t forget all the Tamiya kits that were used in all the giant monster movies.
Don’t know if this was a Tamiya kit.
Then there were these from Storm Over The Pacific that look like Nichimo and Fujimi kits.
and that’s not the only flying Corvette of that style:

Thank you, it’s a '58 then.
Lola is cooooool
True, but as a '62 you would have to go with the AMT kit. At least if it’s not in your stash it was slated for a 2022 re-release.
The Revell appears a more sophisticated kit an should pass for a '60 if you stick with “Heavy Metal”.

M

Makeup!… Quick, somebody get makeup!
Looking forward to see how this one builds. Have had one in the stash for years, although mine didn’t come with the figure.
“Hump, what hump?.. You muss be thinkin’ of me cousin Igor.”
Okay, this Campaign is a go!
Thanks Matt.
Hmmmmmm…
Are we stretching the theme here Mike?
I did say the intent was an alternate history theme, eg, no Sci-Fi vehicles. But I also did say: “It could also be a dio or figure reproduced from a specific scene in a movie.” Pretty general there.
Ephialtes from 300 was a real actor in make-up in a movie about a real battle. Cyclops was a stop motion model…
Oh, What The Flag…
The build is supposed to be for fun. Okay, one-eye is in!
OK, here’s my entry, Revell of Germany’s F4U-4:
No, that’s not a photo trick. I’m going to try to and build 2 for the NWSM Model Mania in February.
I really wanted this kit for the Navy Reserve marking, but plans have changed and I hope to finish them as Brown and Hunder’s Mounts from Devotion.
Wish me luck I’m gonna need it.

A ‘Twofer’… way to go Mark.
