I’m in.

I have planned a comparison build of the new Eduard A6M2 Zero and the old Hasegawa A6M2 next year anyway. So this campaign meets my plan :slightly_smiling_face:

Maybe I can finally get around to building that old Ki-43 that I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time… this is a good a reason as any

Count me in on this one. I’ll hold off building the Tamiya 1/35 75mm Self-propelled gun and I may even consider building one of the Dragon IJA kits.

I’m in. I’ll be building an IJA tank. Not sure which one yet. I have a huge stash of them.
The Armorcon 2022 theme is “Japanese Tanks”.

I’d allow partially started kits to an extent! What did you have in mind?

Mead93 - At the moment I am working on the Hasegawa IJN Heian Maru along with some submarines - the Heian Maru Hull is already put together but in the end I will have a submarine that I can use for the campaign that is not started already.

I’ve been following that build. It’s really fantastic! That sounds great for the campaign. Even if you had a partially started sub I’m cool with that, especially since you are building a lot of IJN stuff right now

Now I have to make a decision. Should I build a ship, and airplane, an army vehicle, or a figure set? So many choices. So many things I want to do. So little time.

I’m in. i wish it was starting now. i literally have three kit boxes on my bench now, a jill, a frank and a zero. i was trying to decide which one i wanted to build next after just finishing the 109E. i’m ready to start it now. i guess i will have to find a quick build for now, even that may take me more than 4 months, i am a slow builder-lol

I’m in with my Type 97 Isuzu truck.

I’d really like to do the Fujimi early Oscar (Hayabusa I) in 1/72. But that kit seems elusive. Scalemates says there was a reissue in 2019 but none of the Japanese mail order retailers have it. Seems to be around in odd places (for mostly $$$$). Does Fujimi not make a lot when they do a release?

My 2nd choice will be a zero from Guadalcanal campaign…
