I dig the duffels, and the rolled up stowage on the front. Many a model has attained “mediocre” status by relying too heavily on the use of plastic Tamiya stowage.
Great Pics can i save them into my collection.
Yes its an easy trap to fall into, I like to mix and match and scratch.
Great job. Love the weathering. Will ship you mine for the weathering.
feel free, if there is anything in particular you need reference for just ask
I’ve added some items to the interior prior to closing it up. it’s not as grand as some of the others who have detailed their interiors but mine won’t be that visible.
Nice looking interior
Work update
- M163: almost done. Besides the tracks, there’s still a bit of dust to add. I am also not happy with the positioning of the aerial reconnaissance strip on the deck. Maybe I will fold it a little more or make it smaller.
I want to add some figures to give a sense of scale on a simple base.
Maybe this figure, making a pun with the sound of the Vulcan cannon and the Violin, something like Violin x Vulcan duet.
The figure, despite being interesting, has two problems: the position of the soldier sitting, which is a little difficult to fit and last but not least irritating, the GIANT laces on the boot.
*** M577:** I decided to remove the antenna guards, and although there are vehicles with and without the guards, I didn’t like the final result of aligning them.
I found some very good bases in a set of resins. I was thinking of adding screws to the plasticard circles, but the resin will be better.
I also reduced the height of the commander’s hatch, as friend ptruhe suggested.
I did the wiring and the APU base, but I might only glue them on after painting to make the job easier.
Nice idea that figure
And making him sit properly shouldn’t be to difficult with all those sandbags, add 1 or 2 made from magic sculpt/ putty and you can press his behind nicely into it.
M163 looks great:+1:
Wooow!
Nice tip, @bwilt, thanks. I hadn’t thought of that.
This way I can position it to the side and not in front of the M163.
That would be visually different but a more likely duet would be with a guitar, imho. Not to say there isn’t crewman that know how to play the violin, just a higher percentage that someone plays and brings a guitar to the field.
My bad, I had forgotten your our doing a IDF 163, I was thinking US.
Actually, my kit for the IDF 77 is another one. It’s a Unimog.
Here is the post of my diorama
