M2/M3 Bradley Reference

Yes.

There’s a little more to it than what the Gino lists above, but this photo from my walkaround should help the discerning modeler:

Thank you for the detailed answer. I plan to make the M3a4 named from the Meng model, it has already been purchased.
Now I understand that M7a3 would be a more preferable donor. But it is already assembled, it is in the a3 variation that is waiting for the final improvements.

Thank you.
An intriguing photo, it’s called teasing:).
I see at least one interesting detail - on the starboard side of the turret. It resembles the shape of a part from M2a2 ODS.

Exactly. And there’s more. Starting with the Meng kit isn’t a bad idea if you can have someone send you leftover A4 parts. It eliminates a lot of problems inherent in all Magic Factory kits that are not easy to fix. Get Jacques Duquette’s track from eBay as well. It scales out better than Magic Factory’s and has the correct guide horns.

I have all the A4 parts. the question is whether all of them need to be used.
To my regret, there are practically no photos of the M3a4 on the web. There is a problem with ordering wonderful parts from Jacques - due to sanctions, there is no delivery to my country.I plan to find trucks from RFM
And, frankly, M3a4 is not my biggest problem:)

he suspension levers are taken from the M2a2 body , and moved to the place of the first short ones on the bodies of other models. on this case I plan to put elements from the conversion kit from Hobby Fan for AAV7a1

greetings, colleagues.
please share a photo of the radiator grilles, air intake and grids on the folding ramp on M2 / M3. I want to make a 3d model and print it.

please also share the dimensions of the T-161 tracks and photos, also for creating a layout and printing.

While I’m sure others have done it, yours is the only one other than my own where I’ve actually seen it done. Very nice.

It looks like yours will be more involved than mine and accurately portray the offest due to the torsion bars. That is quite ambitious.

Thank you for your high opinion of my work and feedback. The idea with torsion bars is good - I didn’t think about it, but now it sounds like a challenge:).
How can I get a photo review of Bradley from you, and what do I need to do?
Do you have any information about the size of the T-161 truck? I have tracks from panda, RFM and magic models - all different…

I’ll PM you. And yes, I have T-161 dimensions.

So they look more like the other guys stuff?

There are noticeable differences in the Bradleys.

Looks like no more two tone for the Abrams at the moment.

Made with Bradley components - why not?

Great pics!

Not mine, however. I’m doing a lot of traveling this year, but D.C. is not one of my destinations.
Maybe Bradley experts can spot the differences?

hmmm… where are the guns?

I’m certainly not an expert, but… I see differences only in the additional armor on the side of the turret. And here I have doubts - are all the vehicles M2a4/M3a4 - or are there A3s hidden among them?

You nailed it. I wondered if anyone would catch it. The armor array on the turret side is different on some. Also. the armor at the front right corner of the turret is double thickness on some, and single thickness on others. My M2A4 photos show that difference very well, as you will see.
From what I can see they are all A4s. (looking at many differet photos on the web)
Aslo, I believe they are all from Ft. Cavazos, where almost all of my A4 photos were taken.

Interesting. :+1:
And I didn’t notice the reinforced armor on the right front corner of the turret, I’m not an expert yet:)))
