I completed Zvezda 1/48 LaGG-3-66. It was easy to build, since I like LaGG plane.

But painting the aircrafts are very hard for me. How much practice does it take to improve my painting skills?

Well. My build is complete, minus decals. Sadly, I had a death in the family, so I’m out of town for a bit while handling family matters I’ll be returning home next weekend and apply decals to the kit to finally complete it and end this one on a positive note.

Got the painting done. I sealed it with testor’s metalizer. Next step - half a million stencils

I have a rule for myself: if I can’t read the words on the stencils, they don’t get applied.

That’ a lot of detail for such a tiny model. Did you paint the instrument panel or was it a decal?
