Made in the USSR

I’m still umming and ah-ing over this one:

I’m going with this at gun. Maybe do a crew as well if time doesn’t run out.

I think I’m up for this; I won’t be able to start until post October though - I’ve several other builds to tackle first.

Can I call this one done? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Edit: I just made a slight correction to the image above. (I forgot to put in a transparent background.)

Here it is in large size. I do not think this one requires any explanation.

Alright. Let’s get 2025 off to a solid start… Aside of what’s going on in New Orleans and Las Vegas.

adding some real world images of the T-55 Mod. 1980.

Alright; lower hull is done. As with other Ryefield kits; this one went together with ease, good details, no warping.

It is a new year, with a new campaign, so time to get something new on the table!
I shoved aside all the old and ongoing builds, so hopefully this will be a “quick 'n easy” one.
I am entering with a T-26, model 1933 in Finnish colours. I once got hold of a Finnish Arsenal35 figure, which forms the inspiration for this.

The first step is assembling the chassis; 6 pieces which align rather easily.

I will build the BTM-3 from Trumpeter:

Knowing your previous works, I expect high performance from this one as well. Don’t forget to keep us informed.

Sure Yuri!

And thanks for the flattering words.
But to be honest, it will be more of an OOB build, besides adding the missing chains on the digging baskets.

I also have a ZiL-130G on the workbench, waiting to be finished and a KrAZ-255 with PMP River section, waiting to be weathered.
And another KrAZ with TMM-3 in the pipeline…

Cheers,
Angel

Looks like it is popular. I think it’s good to go.

Think I am actually going to do my trumpeter t-64BV mod 1985 in Ukrainian service.

First, is this allowed? Skimming the rules I think so, but wanted to double check.

Second, anyone know if this kit can model a post 2022 invasion tank OOB?

Cheers

“Mod 1985” is surely within the allowed period of the UdSSR.

if it was made in the ussr within the years it’s fine, wherever and whenever it has ended up in service

Everyone is looking good on kit choices.

I’m finished with most of the lower hull and the front portion of the upper hull. The wheels all line up, so good progress so far.

Right now working in the tracks. I’m pleasantly surprised by how easy these go together. Better than most tracks. Usually, I prefer using metal tracks, but these ones line up just too nice.
