The cab of FMTV looks very good. What would be the price for a whole cab ?
For Gino, I priced it out at about $103 but that included half shipping for a large box. Total for the kit would be $70. I toss in a couple extra bits and bobs in addition to the actual conversion. It can be a PITA to print though.
A cut here, a cut here, and out comes a new thing!
I just told my wife I am submitting yet another order! Nice work my friend
Well I wish you good luck with that! You’ll be in our hearts always
Who-ray for the stripper clips (film holders!)
Ah yes, the days of green eggs and ham on the W. German, Checkoslavokia border. Lol
Just wondering if you have grenades used by US forces?
I do. I have M67’s, M18’s, M84’s, and the WWII Mk II pineapple.
You can find the link to my storefront on my profile.
I must have missed these but I will sure to get some once you get better. Thanks for the info.
Also started, and finished, an F-1 Grenade set in my usual style. 20 grenades are of the type on the left, 15 are of the type on the right. I’ve found pictures showing these 2 types so I made both.
And again as usual, reference that probably comes too late to be of assistance:
FYI: This unit definitely used the one-piece, two-way handset (just looks like a regular old fashioned phone handset but with a talk/listen butterfly switch in the middle under the handle.) rather than the lollipop mic and headphones.
Of course the phone handset is available in 1/35th plastic but somewhat hard to find.
*And requires buying a complete kit just to get the telephone style handset.
I will try the phone but I’m not sure how to pull it off… yet.
Little screen capture of an ongoing project.
If I still owned one I would ship it to you to scan.
But I sold my complete BC-654 radio set some years ago.
Since I do have so much time on my hands now, I think I might ask around at a few of the museums, VFW posts, or collectors around here. Maybe one of them might have some interesting items that they’ll allow me to scan. Maybe.
Look for an old style phone handset in antique malls and on eBay.
