The Desert Eagle battering ram, is completely different to the Legend one. It is not that hard to build, and looks amazing when finished. It is also the only one on the market for the Mk3/4’s. :grinning::ok_hand:

Yes, it is not so hard to build, I have one started on MK.3

I’m wondering whether Legend’s Merkava MkII Droid would be compatible with Border’s upcoming MkIID?

The “droid” on the real tank have the same mounting bracket for MK.2 and MK.2D, so You can use it

Speaking of aftermarket, Lanmo Model has a nice but fairly complex looking cope cage for Merkava.

The easiest way to do the cage is to choose the proper evergreen profiles for the frame and the proper mesh from photoetch, I think Aber provides plenty of options. There is an abundance of photos showing various types of cages, depending on the unit and type of vehicle. The most important detail is where the cage mounts on the turret. Lanmo does not provide any detail for that.

Can we use Hobby Boss models to model IDF version?

Accurate Armour make one

The IDF vehicle looks like a Land Rover Defender, so the Hobby Boss kit should work. It looks closest to this one but would need some IDF mods.

I know for IDF thingies, but is the body length correct? TOW version is stretched one.
Or I can make one like this

The rubber is there to prevent magnetic mines being attached, I’d replicate this with textured foil for that distressed look and thickness. Looking closely, on the Achzarit hulls, the bolt holes are all pre-punched, Puma hulls are large mats, tank hulls is a multitude of strips.

Anti magnetic mine sheet. So I’ve been told
You can cut painters tape to replicate it

Look’s like it’s a petrol v8, carburettors on each side.maybe a 3.8 of there’s.

Might the Hobbyboss 1/35 RSOV work better, the body looks little longer.
