That Cope Cage looks like it could take a solid hit. really sturdy looking. I can imagine the top has a Kevlar blanket to minimize downward shrapnel.

The beauty of being in a Sapper Unit, particularly a POM in Sp Tp, was that it was relatively easy to avoid this kind of embarrassment - you simply dug yourself out, or got a mate to dig you out…
