I wonder how western AFV would be modified to fit the Ukrainian standard? For example would a Leopard 1A4 get Russian co-ax and AA machine guns? Just a rethorical question. :wink:

Looking at the armour thickness on that BTR you may as well just be in a car!!

RPT= Remotely Piloted Tractors? Someone needs to develop a remotely operable towbar.

ok i’m confused is there a btr-80a and a btr-82 and if so what is the difference between them as i am not an expert in russian/soviet armour.

This link explains it well. Basically the main difference is a turret with either a 14.5mm gun or a 30mm. There are also a few differences on the hull.

is that a BTR-60 in the second picture?
