Modelling armour in Ukraine crisis

Speaking of running low on flying things, anything with a Sukhoi label on it seems to be doomed. Here’s another going down without any outside assistance.

This is another angle of last weeks tower block demolition:

On the other hand, this one was shot down:

So was this one:

This is rather dated but I can’t remember whether it has been posted here?

wich tank? there is the base coating green the darker pic nearest you,and the second lighter color with the z on it,i tend to paint my modern russo/ukraine war tanks the darker base green?

The point was any of those colors and the shades in between would be acceptable color choices, not just the darker green.

It looks like the brdm turret was purposefully removed as it looks to clean to be an internal explosion. Anymore photos or information about that vehicle?

It was part of a Ukrainian column attacked by the Russians. You’ll find the news footage here :

That photo doesn’t necessarily imply that the vehicle had an explosion it may have been disabled in
It may as you suggested removed for parts.

The pictured gun in your post above is in fact a Ukrainian (Croatia-supplied) 130 mm M-46 field gun

See the differences ?

You are right, it’s not M-1 but probably Russian or Ukrainian M-46.
I think it’s not ex Croatian, they were in better shape
Are you sure it’s Ukrainian?!

Needs a link or two removing

I would not want to take the X-country, chance’s of throwing a track are quite high even though it’s meant to have a slack track.
