Yes, I copy the differences between the 80/80A and the 82 series. I’m just wondering if anybody has come across any photos of an 80A in the combat zone yet? It does seem a bit odd that all sorts of older vehicles such as BMP-1s, T-72As, and T-62s are in theater, yet the BTR-80A has not shown up.
AFAIK, the 80A pics I"ve posted are from combat zones in Ukraine (hence the markings)… For instance, this one has been taken in Popasna in the Luhansk Region on June 2, 2022.

These are BTR 82A. Look at the turret, look at the exhaust.

Zvezda only re-issued the old DML kit with parts for the new turret.

In regard to the turret there are very subtle differences in the turret profile and sight head between the two which is only noticeable from the front. As well as the different searchlight on the turret.
No, Zvezda and Trumpeter are BTR-80A and they are right.
We are missing BTR-82A model.

Exactly. I’m seeing plenty of BTR-82As…. Yet no BTR-80As have shown up yet. Seems a bit odd that older and newer types are there, yet not the 80A. Were they all rebuilt into 82As?
anyone have decent pics of the strela-10 from this current conflict? rear interior pics?
