It sounds good, but I’d sure like to at least see some open source satellite photos for confirmation.

Why is the MTLB in sand color?

Previous owner???

I’ve never seen a Russian built vehicle sand before.

I think Poland donated many of their now retired MT-LB vehicles. Poland also participated as part of the Multinational Division Central-South (MND-CS) during Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003-2010). maybe this vehicle is an ex-Polish vehicle that saw action in Iraq.

See the extended “Winter” tracks on this MT-LB?

Maybe works on loose sand as well?

it could very well work. That’s why I hyphenated the “Winter” part.

The old nickname we gave the MLRS back in Desert Storm was “STEEL RAIN”, still holds true in Ukraine with both the MLRS as well as the HIMARS.

I remember watching the guys from 13th FA, fire off during a rotation I did at NTC. it literally lit up the night. And i only saw a battery of them (4 vehicles, i think).

I saw the ones belonging to 2nd ACR during ODS. Almost needed a cigarette afterwards. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
