I love that movie. Possibly Spielberg’s finest IMHO. Admittedly it’s been years since I’ve seen it, but I don’t remember that scene. I thought they snatched Hollis Wood freom his truck in the middle of a forest at night.
Yeah, it’s underrated, but definitely a great one to watch. Personally I think that Empire of the Sun was his best film, but everybody has their own tastes.

The Ukrainians come up with some pretty cool camo schemes haven’t seen the 2nd to last photo camo pattern anywhere before might just have to attempt it. To me it looks like a 3 tone Russian camo over painted after capture almost looks like a dark color was sprayed over the entire vehicle with a camo net covering it as a stencil.
Trumpeter’s BMP-2s also have pretty complete interiors that are somewhat accurate.
