Malcolm sounds like it’s a good film, and see it has recently appeared on YouTube, not sure if it will stay there though. I guess model making here is another indicator of being somewhere spectrum wise.

I remember watching a movie back in the 80s called “Ohms” starring Ralph Waite (Walton’s fame) that was about farmers dealing with a power company that was putting large power line towers on the farmers properties. The farmers decided to take one down to try and stop it and so one of the farmers built a scale model of one of the towers that had moving parts and everything so they could see how to dismantle one of them. Tried finding the movie one line or some stills from it showing the model but haven’t had any luck.

Have been watching “Callan” the series on YouTube. Season 3 episode 4 sees Callan being assisted by his sidekick Lonely in casting a model soldier, Prince Eugene’s Standard Bearer. He then goes to a wargame convention where he uses it as a means of befriending someone the service is interested in. Later the same man is followed to Tradition of London where he buys a gift.

Just happened to think of this scene in the movie “The Patriot” where Thomas Martin is painting his lead soldiers.
Similar scene in S3E1 of Stranger Things - Mr. Clarke painting miniatures.
I was sitting here watching the old movie “Bloody Mama” and there was this scene with Robert De Niro building a model airplane.

I’m think we’re starting to stretch it a bit, guys.
