Return of the Jackal 2. Op NEWCOMBE

The L7A2 of this kit is not so bad, contrary to the one provided in the Land Rover WMIK kits.

On the other hand, wheels are difficult to glue because of the strange system thought by Hobbyboss.

The rear section coming along I decided not to drill all the holes as it’s going to be covered in kit …but you get the idea .

I like the rear shelf you have scratched. Good call on not doing all of the holes, that would have been a lot of work for little return.

Fair bit of progress on this now and it’s fast becoming a very delicate model to move around

A really fantastic build Terry, what takes up to the next level is the exceptional detailing, only parts of which we can see … All these little bits give it the realism it has now. … The helmets left laying around, the handset draped over the seat, the perfectly hanging straps on the open door on the rear LH side and the MBSGD’s, some filled, some empty and some with covers on, the ratchet strap also has a nice twist in it as well… Brilliant… :+1::+1:

Still a small amount to do but nearly done …have to say I’m pleased with it and in hindsight there are bits I’d do differently.

Stunning !!! How did you do your bungees and the unscrewed cap on the water jerry can … That is very cool :+1:

Just awesome work. There is just so much to see in each pic and as John says, the way the webbing hangs and the little touches add so much.

Thank you mate much appreciated… the water jerry cans are from accurate Armour as the kits ones are the American type … I drilled out the top of the can and then used plastic rod drilled out to make the lid along with fuse wire 0.2 mm make the chain .
The bungee they are made from fine wire the hook part is twisted around a fine bit of wire then slide over the part that will become the bungee…

I could easily spend half my monthly wage at Accurate Armour lol … great method and I will try

Exceptional minute detail on every item everywhere on this build. So outstanding. I know this must be the result of hundreds of hours of work, and the piece could be studied for half an hour without viewing anything twice… just incredible attention to detail and excellent workmanship. A stunning model.
