I basically built the Typhoon out of the box. So much piping was done in styrene that there was no point in duplicating it. It was an absolute bear of a model… one of the most challenging I’ve done, but the end result was satisfying. It’s the 1:24 AirFix version.

I bought the kit mainly to model the Napier Sabre engine. It didn’t disappoint in that regard.

which one? I have been to both, but the Udvar-Hazy Center is the only one I would return to. NO desire to go to D.C.! I spent many weekends there, and at the NRA Museum while stationed at Ft.Lee years ago. I cannot believe I missed it!
