Some nice colours there Mike.
Wow! Taking shape and colour!
Looking great!
Interior parts are looking great.
I’ve got a few things to finish and I’ll have to crack on with mine.
Trouble is I can’t remember what it was I doing? I think it was the Botany Bay?
Okay, the Canadians and Britains win this round… hence forth, color shall be known as “colour!”

Thank’s guys! Glad you like the colours!
Here’s the Earl Scheib special of the day sprayed on the Fusion Tubes. I call this colour “Not Panzer Grey Metallica.”
Unsure if it comes through here, but I’ve toned-down the shiny metal this time round.
Chemical Specs
• Vallejo Prussian Blue (70.965)
• Vallejo Magnesium Metal Color (77.711)
After rigorously testing several readily available blue paints (Royal Blue (70.809), Dark Prussia Blue (70.899), Prussian Blue (70.965), each mixed with Vallejo Magnesium Metal Color (77.711), I ultimately settled on: Prussian Blue + Magnesium at an approximate ratio of 3:2. … Sorry guys, the Royals lost this paintball round.

Well, I finally bit the bullet and started painting my Valkyrie Battroid.
Got the primer and pre shading done.
Next is colour and gloss followed by a zillion decals. Seal, weather and pose.
Till next time!
I’m pleased with the painting thus far.
I just pray that I can maintain to keep the look constant.
Till next time!
Nice finish, Gavin! Looking forward to see more.
My Old Revell kit is coming together well. Old school with basic details and raised panel lines. Not up to todays standards, but looks good nonetheless.
I have raided the spares box for a load out. A mix of phantom drop tanks, tomcat JDAMs, sidewinders and sparrows.
More to follow
Getting there.
The base colour is looking good, gonna have to give the secondary colours some thought.
I’m trying to avoid using the large decals and will try to paint them in a similar fashion.
Till next time.
I’m calling this one finished.
1/16 3-D printed female Sci-Fi soldier printed by James Lee. No assembly required.
I painted it shades of pink (a first) because someone on this thread recommended that I should when I offered the idea.
Medic pouch on back and zip MOLLE pouch on thigh is from my spare parts box and 1/16 Legend Productions for the two ammo pouches on the thigh. The rifle is already printed with the figure.
Base is black MDF from Nekko Galaxy. Pink grass tuffs are from Green Stuff World. Groundwork is from Vallejo. Moon brass coin is from ETSY.
Painted with Vallejo and Citadel Miniatures pink paints, washes, and inks. Flat coat is Mr. Gunze Sanyo Matt Clear.
Thanks for the 2023 Sci-Fi Campaign!
A truly original piece Peter- really eye catching and nicely painted. I’m sure it was a difficult one to do in terms of the color but you have made it work.
Thanks @Karl187.
I just bought Tamiya Clear Coat in a spray can as I believe that the armor should’ve had a bit of a sheen compared to all matte flat. I can go back and brush paint some gloss onto the armor pieces; however, I consider this build complete.
The pigments with pigment binder on the boots and shins haven’t dried yet to their original pigment color. I might take another photo when the pigments are dry.
“Was ist das? … Sproogetti?”
This crap just leaped outa’ my trash can onto my workbench. Suddenly, it was glued-together with VMS Flexy 5K Black CA (CM09).
Added MENG Resin Nuts and Bolts Set A (Small 0.8mm x 12) to the Styrene flanges.
Mr Surfacer 1500 before sanding and paint.
Note: I left a few injector pins in tact as floor risers.
To be continued…

And just when we start to think the model is nearing completion and there will be no more displays of your ingenuity, along comes the start of a suitable scenic base or even the beginnings of a diorama…
This is the kind of modelling I like best.

M
Thank’s Tom, nice of you to say!
Glad you guys are liking this crazy, inside-out, logic-defying saga! …

@justsendit Mike, I can’t tell if you’re bat-sh*t-crazy or a modeling genius, but it’s damn good internet!
He is both…and I don’t care, it looks great!
