Gerrit, crazy cool project! I am amazed by your wild ideas and great execution!
Thank you very much , but the level of work and all your skills here are is amazing ! I am far away from that perfection , so i try to make some new concepts instead
Yesterday night i did some more sanding , the tail is ready , underside was a lot to do , and i build the intakes of the engines from some bombs . Also the clear parts are ready for paint job , i hope to find a masking set for a good price .
That silver paint is my standard primer from the rattle can , very easy to use and strong like metal , and dry in 5 minutes.
The blades of the original props are much to small , so i made them new from sheet .
Thank you! Looks like 15 years younger me put in two or three hours of work. Do not remember starting the thing or what I was up to. An Aber set? That’s crazy. Now it’s bantha fodder. Gonna make me a glue bomb and paint 'er up!
Engine compartment, front suspension parts, and one rear suspension arm for my Schwimmwagen.
Hi mates, really interesting subjects already underway!
I’m thinking about a little Piper L4H floatplane.
This kit shoudn’t be too time-consuming, I think…
Peter
Today we added some details to the engines , 6 parts on each , for a more powerful aggressive Look .
Also the cockpit is under construction , seat is ready , the wall behind the pilot is in.
And i started the landing gear , first picture of the … S K I D S .
The leg must be made longer about 10 mm , these parts should do the job . It’s the best i can find , and the should not break apart later .
Glued both rear suspension arms to the body. Will try to paint the front differential and drive shafts next, plus the engine compartment and engine pieces.
Looks super nice, Gerrit!
Opened up a small box which contains my entrie for this groupbuild, nice little kit, nothing to fancy…
Cool choice, never heard of it yet…
Wow , that wildcat looks good and rude .
I got trouble with my paint job , but at the end it seems okay . Some rattle cans got problems and this came out with the last drop … It’s a night bomber now !
Landing gear is complete silver and ready for further paint and washing .
Those landing gear look like feet for a sewing machine. Pretty neat. That rhymes.
Haha , in fact I am a professional men‘s taylor
The crew is also ready , covered with that very good satin varnish after the Valejo Color .
I just love your ideas!!
Looks cooler with every new post!
Peter
