Finally got some bench time. A few weeks ago I epoxied a stack of popsicle sticks into the tail to provide support for today’s work.
Drilled a hole into the tail section for the small acrylic rod, which will be bent with a heat gun into a “C” shape to hold the aircraft. The base will be black with the top surface an RAF roundel like my avatar.
(I’ve had that round base forever and used it as a cutting board when I was a teenager…so it’ll need some putty)
