you can carefully shave those bolt points off with a sharp knife by using just the very tip going around it taking tiny slices until they come off then can be transplanted to a different spot.

Mine actually look better than the ones on the kit, There’s also the Voyager set that includes them along with the tie downs that are seen on many of them.

Nicely done so far! But your statement about the Trumpeter kit being the easier one to convert is debatable. Here’s why:
The lifting lugs on the FB versions are behind the armor joint. The armor is notched to allow for it. On the DVH A1, the lifting lug is in front of the joint - the front piece of armor is notched to accommodate it. This is any easy fix for the AFV Club kits as the armor comes in separate pieces. Since Trumpeter’s armor is cast on it’s a little trickier.
