Indeed; I would love to see the same upgrade set made for the AFV Club kit.
The latest M1126 is a big improvement over the early red box.
I won’t bother with the AFV kit since they cost twice the price, and are nearly identical except for the engine deck part.
I designed it for the upper box, but made adjustments so it fits the new bottom box.
They changed a lot on the shape and build of the kit.
If you want to convert a AFV club Stryker it’s going to take a lot of work and parts.
But I’m curious to see how he tackled this problem.
You know when the parts are going to be ready?
Im definitely going to order a set to complement my Stryker family!
AFV Club hull is actually narrower and the hull side angles are different. Compare the back plates.
Remove the circled periscope as it is superfluous. Its view would be blocked by the raised portion of the turret deck marked in black.
Ok, the red is part of the Trumpeter kit.
But I’ll put this remark on the instructions.
Thanks
You may as well develop it with something other than Hellfires. They’re no longer authorized. The plan is to possibly put another Stinger launcher on the left, but currently the SHORADS Strykers mount nothing there.
I would take a ladder and go see how the vehicle look from above.
I would buy a drone to film the topside.
Devil is in the details they say.
Most of the time I have to use my creativity to guess what is on top.
Nice idea, but drones are not authorized on military bases. Ya gotta crawl inside, on top of, and underneath these beasts to get what you need.
Never seen a Stryker, HEMTT A4 or LVSR up close.
I don’t even know they have those in Europe.
Never even seen a Nimitz carrier, did see a F-14 once.
