Peter-This is what the underside of the M1114 looks like with the correct armour, rear winch and its cover. I had to make it myself.

And the rest has been coloured…

And this is what it looks like when I place them together…

And each time I was left with a spray cup with a lightened colour, I grabbed something to empty it on…

Thanks Piotr, great references for me. Once again, I really appreciate your help.

My pleasure. When it comes to humvee I will always try to help.

In case anyone else is interested, a diagram from TM-9-2320-387-24P showing the winch and the brackets, etc to fit it to the M1114:

Finally settled on the plain green paint scheme. I tried the 3 colour camo option but it just didn’t look right. On to weathering next

That does look good in the basic green Colin. Coming along nicely.

Finished…

How they could end up…

Still got the detail painting and perhaps another dry brushing. Then some light weathering given the scene its going in to, just a bit of dust and wet earth

Done. Finished. Complete.

(Apart from the diorama it’s going in, but for the campaign it’s done)

Started base for Steyr 1500:

Steyr on the base:

Going to have the passengers come in on the other side as I was unable to get the left side door attached; somehow I got something out of spec and the door would not fit in without force being exerted. Moving the officer to the front right seat from the rear was an easy fix. I should have both of these guys done by the end but my hope is to get the rest of the bunch done as well.

Nice little set up Pez.

Got all my base colors down on the Steyr 1500 crew. I am going to be using the Tamiya decals for uniform markings, so now I get to try matching the correct ones for each figure. Then some touch ups here and there, highlighting/shading, and whatnot.

Then they go on the base and I’m done.

Very nice Pez.

Okay, with the help from Piotr (@Makinen) as above, I have put a winch assembly together and added armoured covers, etc, to the Bronco M1114. I need to get my digit out, as I am going to go overseas in 2 weeks!

Not 100% accurate, but not a lot will be seen once the model is on a base, so good enough for me.

Inside has had a coat of paint, but it has been days of solid rain here and humidity is against any more painting for now…

@petbat Fantastic work. Well done – it looks great. The internal frame struts by the rear bumper also need replacing.

Nearly done with the figures for my Steyr 1500. Have to touch up a couple of nicks here and there before I apply a shadow wash and then add highlights. Then a sealing coat to avoid nicking the corporal’s pants for the 100th time. Then into the vehicle.

Don’t you hate it when the uniform wears off at the knees? The bane of figure painters everywhere.
