The reason I removed the sheet metal panels from in front of the seats is that the modules underneath are far more interesting:
Just as in the photo, I’ll be building this without the cyclic stick or thrust lever - just indications of where they’re mounted.
To that end I made a rudimentary module from brass:
Now I know to move the holes forward a bit and possibly make them a tad smaller.
Even if I left it as is I think it looks way cooler. But of course I’ll have to fiddle with it a bit more…
