Looking great, Radek!! Interesting concept with the bomb bays in the wings.
Thanks for the details in the building and the kit issues. I can only imagine the masking process with all the uneven sizes and curves.
Looking forward to see more

Nice. That’s a cool plane.
The cockpit area, the rear fusalage and the wings partially built. The cockpit detail is Sparse, but then it would barely be visable.
Following with interest, Stevie Love these old Matchbox kits.
Finally and just on impulse I fished my entry for this campaign from my stash:
joining in on this campaign. hopefully i will introduce you all to mrs runyon.
Thanks Joe
Cool choice, Joe.
On the OD question I have no idea. In my world it is a very academic discussion. In real life the OD would have been affected by so many factors that I doubt there is one “right” color. Just based on the colors I saw in the army in peacetime the green can vary wildly.
Go with what you think looks right or trust one of the paint suppliers that their OD is perfect.
PZL 37 got colours and decals.
Painted with dedicated Hataka Orange series paints, decals by Techmod applied on Tamiya’s X-22 with help of micro sol & set.
Decals are really cool, but as I said in Lifting the fog of war thread about PZL 23 I’m building in parallel - they are fragile and thin, so you need to be very delicate with them.
One word worth mentioning - IBG forgot to include a correct decal for Ursa Major and I … forgot to check if all is at place . Originally the version of Ursa Major decal I applied was designated for other plane and is too big - The one with additional writings on top is available in instructions but… doesn’t appear on decal sheet (the decal with writings is available…) and I messed it up a little bit, not historically correct, but… well… I can live with that
Here’s current status and onto… making it dirty.
Another beautiful build of a Polish aircraft from you, Radek.
Thanks Jesper. i know it will have to be well faded and the one photo i foynd so far had a lot of chipping around the cockpit. i bought an OD recently for the anti glare panel of a 1/72 p47. i’ll see if i can use that or maybe an OD RLM color.
Joe
Nice looking build Radek. interesting way it carries it’s bombs.

Hi, I got a little doubtful about meeting our deadline with the TU-22 Blinder kit , as it looks like quite a handful of work. So I switched to this kit for the campaign now:
While I have a few things on my plate already with campaign, yesterday I came across the Airfix Pucara (originally Special Hobby?) in the loft.
Would that qualify?
I’ll allow it!
Cool.
It’s a kit that has some challenges from what I’ve read. Should be a fun build. Iirc standard weapon load in the Falklands were 4 LAU-3 pods on TER’s. Sometimes a centreline MER with Argentinian produced frag bombs, but haven’t been able to find a source of those.
On the other hand, maybe we should start an “Is that a Cessna?” campaign
Seriously, I’m keen to see the result you get with it and looking forward to it.
Thanks Phil.
Will have to get a crack on with it at the weekend. If I can get the cockpit done and a few sub assemblies I should be on a roll.
Think I’m gonna crack open my B-25 this weekend after I get the Jill, and Frank painted. Need something to glue while I weather and paint the few AFV I still have left on the bench
