Something like this he he…
looking forward to it already …
The vegetation is really nice and as always good to do a test piece but I do not think you need to do it anymore
Thanks guys. Well I had to finish what I started.
I used my airbrush and it was a pleasure to paint grass and ground. I finished up the same parts with different colors and a paintbrush.
For the fence I realize that my color pencils worked quite well.
I could even say that I finished a vignette, “Who’s that track”.
Now I feel comfortable to finish the work with Mr Fritz.
Cheers
Very well done. It looks a simple thing, but when you see the process, you realise just how much effort goes into it, then you compare this one to one of your larger projects and that’s when you really think wow… That’s a lot of hard work…great job on this, I think it looks brilliant
Thanks mate! The hard work is to build the fence. To use the thread and fix it every time takes a lot of time. But for a good eye that small detail is welcome. Much work to find the right sticks for the fence. At least now I think I have a way to build it.
I will use a thin layer of clay on all the flat area on the ground. I think I use the layer even under the building and wood wall to the right. (To stabilize it)
In the clay I can do track marks of the tank and put small stones etc that makes the groundwork interesting.
I have it all in my head, got to get some time to keep up the work… cheers!
I have decided to start from the beginning. I have to add clay on 60% of the ground, honestly it’s easier to start working with a fresh ground.
I hade the other part of the wooden box that I used the first time, so it was quite easy to start all over again. Cheers
The bonus of all this Erik is you now have another base to add stuff to … win win
Yo, during lunch today:
Don’t forget to eat Erik … But you missing lunch has resulted in yet more great work … The new base looks great so far… The tree is a nice addition
I eat on Mondays. The rest is modeling he he.
Here is the figure setup if someone have missed that:
Here is the work I did tonight:
Now I leave it over night to dry.
Cheers
Some fantastic work there! From the figures to the groundwork to the building it’s all outstanding.
Very nice indeed. Is the red just normal modelling clay or DAS ? Thats a very neat idea to replicate veh tracks and even boot prints … I will be borrowing that one Erik
Thanks guys!
John, it’s DAS. I used the same in the test piece. /Erik
Looking really good, eventhough right now the pictures look like screenshots from a zombie/horror movie
Cannot wait to see the end result - Luv the detailing on the figures !
I’m starting to understand what your days look like
Breakfast (Build) 1 hour. Work 2 hours .lunch (build) 4 hours.
Works 2 hours (thinks of dio) Dinner 1 hour .Build 8 hours. Sleep 6 hours
FANTASTIC WORK
That seems a long time for sleeping ? I’m sure Erik can only manage with 4.5 hours …
Thanks guys, today was a lazy day, I just tested some bushes from Green Stuff and AK.
I think these products will work fine with my autumn theme. Cheers
I pushed myself to some more work before bedtime. I am trying to find a technique to build the fence. It’s not that easy i can tell you….
Now bedtime.
