Happy Anniversary.
Looks amazing.
Happy anniversary🍻
Small update to the Bomb Room ceiling…
Added Tamiya Masking tape bands onto the pipes.
Painted the ceiling with Vallejo Interior Grey Green (71.305). For the pipes, I went with Vallejo Magnesium Metal Color (77.711).

Decided to bench the Tamiya Panther G for a few weeks after discovering a forgotten shelf queen, an Italeri Panther A. The lower hull was mostly assembled.
Decided to make it into a Panther D with zimmerit. Cavalier Zimmerit from back in the day and Chesapeake Model Design Panther D turret.
Made a later sprocket into…
…and early sprocket…
…running gear with RFM idler test fit…
…Sector35 Early Panther D track links pre-assembled…
…need to remove one link…
Lately, nothing interesting…
Been feeling a bit out of it lately — lack of MoJo and all.
Sooo, I backed-up to take a look at the broader picture (Refer: ‘The Usual Suspects’ movie) and decided to try and make some sense of my “PanzerWerks” — long overdue.
The other week, I added a three-drawer cabinet into the mix, rearranging and tossing un-needed crap as I went along my merry way.
Yesterday, I added a couple of shelves to the airbrush area (RH wall). I think that helps.
Then, the moment of truth… I grabbed every single bottle of paint off of the table and out of random project boxes and placed them back on the paint shelf. I kinda,’ sorta’ categorized them by related colors, but I know I’ll never be able to find anything again!
There’s still more work to do…
Happy modeling again… I hope.

did you order the shelves on the right off of amazon and if you did, we are now shelf twins.
Sure did, my Brother from another Mother!

…worked changing the Italeri Panther A’s engine deck into an early Panther D engine deck…
…new grates with small center and sharp angles required…
…committed to making it work…can’t back out now…
…perfect tool for removing Mig’s resin parts…
…early Panther D engine deck…
…Armor Research Company screens…
…technical advisor wanted a snack…so we took a break…
…made a .010 ring out of solder. Used thin copper wire for the interleave…as screen isn’t flat like PE part…
…will finish the other one tomorrow…
…Panther D engine deck…
Kudos to the Armor Research Company. Very happy with this 1980’s era product.
Edit - added frames & nuts for rectangular screens.
The ring is amazing work, Wade!
So much great work in this thread.
So shooting season is over and it’s time to get back to this thing. I think the decals are cured.
After a couple o’ cups of Jo, I got some MoJo back…
This has been on the back-burner forever… finally got it fired-up again.
Chain Drive jig and assembly.
That was easy… NOT!
