Thank You yeah I see what you mean. I will see if I can remove them without damaging the model… I’ve been thinking the same thing. Thanks for the additional information.
If you can show the photo time stamp I have problem allowing it to be added to the campaign.
I also assume you emptied the trash can so the photos are not recoverable.
Wow Nick. you know how I like me some leaf springs !!!!!*!
Deleted from my Ipad. Damn thing defaults to ‘LIVE’ pics which I hate, but forget to turn off most of the time. Then I take the pics again and go back and delete the Live ones… only this time I deleted too many. The first pic I posted was done back in November, the one with the figures removed today.
I really can’t show the original date and the pic in question at the same time. Best Ipad offers is the ability to change the date where it shows the original date and what you changed it to:
but that does not show the pic itself on the screen. It could be any pic.
It is not a huge deal for me, Ryan, but thanks for the offer anyway. Cheers.
Coming along very nicely Frank.
Old film cannisters… yes, I have a few of those in use for bits and bobs…
Never fails! Every time Apple releases a Software Update, things begin to change on their own. I noticed my iPhone defaulted to ‘Live Photos’ yesterday.

Thank’s Gary, Angel and fellow lurkers!
Hold onto yer jaws fellas. You’ll need them as third-hand clamps for gluing parts together.
And nobody’s gonna’ look up her skirt except for you KitMaker types.
—mike …
I was able to remove the ones I had in place and working on a set of replacements. Question… Where did you get the straps that are holding the the fuel cells in place. I really like the way yours looks and wouldn’t mind doing mine the same way. Along with all the other stuff I’m doing. The parts youre showing in the picture, are they P.E. parts.
I am good with that. You can enter if you want.
Hi Dennis,
My model is based on a Trumpeter hull and Tamiya turret, so most of the PE is from the Trumpeter kit. All Trumpeter T-72 kits are made using those nice looking straps and other etched details.
However I also use Eduard etched set, desugned for the Tamiya kit as it contains finer details for the turret, missing from the Trumpeter kits.
It may be hard to find the Eduard set but if you find it, it does worth IMHO.
Thank you that explains it. You did good with that. I will have to see if I can find it.
Installed the jack, with On the Mark PE brackets.
Tweaked the manual crank, by removed the handle (sop) and added clasps.
Added PE brackets for rear fenders since both fenders will be missing.
That’s frickin’ amazingingly detailed Wade.
Quinta Studio tail lamp lenses and reflectors along with more oil pastel dry brushing for the M1001.
Thanks… it’s Trumpeters T-80BV…it’s since been completed. Now working on Trumpeters T-72B1. Love Russian armor.
I’ve stayed busy with suspension:
In addition to the size of this, there is a surprising amount of bits, bolts and brackets to go along, and now, my version has them too. A strange visual here is the walking beams look small - except, they are really big, it’s just that the tires are really big, so they appear to be small - they’re not. Added control arms to the diffs, and resized the driveline on the tandem, and:
Added the drag link for the steering. To do this, I inserted 1/16" diameter alu tube bushings to the control arms, then tied together with alu tube, and brass bolts and eyebolts, so we now have controllable, posable steering -
Cheers
Nick
Yeah Russian armor does look pretty Cool.
Quite a big boy, impressive
Finished my last model of 2023 today
Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4
3./JG 27
Egypt, September 1942
Pilot: Hauptmann Hans-Joachim Marseille
Kit: Eduard Weekend 1/48
I have another “Friedrich” on the bench, but that is still missing all decals, so I call my modelling year 2023 done with Marseille’s “Yellow 14” which brings me up to 7 finished.
Happy New Year everybody here at the Kitmaker Family and have a prosperous modelling 2024!
