What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

What a treat - I figured out that I needed to fix some work:

I was feeling pretty good about this, then I began adding parts - specifically fenders, and as you can see in the upper left, well, my cab/fender was sitting too low on the frame - perfect - what to do here? As you can see in the lower left, I began testing strips of evergreen to see if I could adjust the height.

I became aware of this as I began cross checking my dimensions. There is a return on the rear of the fender - well, it was not looking right, so, a bit more scaling, and voila - it was wrong. So, as you can see in the lower right, the cab now sits at the correct height!

Cheers

Cab fits! With all the body mounts!

Pantograph windshield wipers. I think these are mesmerizing to watch and fun to repair, but I’m weird.

I’ve thought of doing this but the need never came up, cool idea @brekinapez.

I like it; it looks good, elbait with some imperfections…

This is my rendition of the M2A2 from my old division back in the 90s (24th Mechanized Infantry Division) as they were deployed to Somalia in 1993 after “Op Gothic Serpent”.

I did a few extra things after i took these pictures, like adding the ARD coating decals from AFV Club to the periscopes.

Yours looks great. :+1:

Well I didn’t do any model work yesterday…BUT I did make some changes to my hobby room.

I added a new office chair, a book case, and I found what I think used to be a printer paper box ? to use to put my tackle supply box on. I think it makes the room look less cluttered ( without the ugly purple plastic tub) and the chair is something I’ve been really needing.
