My B17 grows on at the club meeting today … And started the next project , and were gifted with some nice parts for another thing . I love those guys :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: !

So i put another box in the car for tomorrow , start a 262 ground vehicle build .

The flying fortress starts becoming evil , isn’t it ?

Oh no… That is no B-17, that’s an XB-17! I wonder how that plane would handle in the air, and for sure, would completely mess with people spotting that plane from the ground or even the air!

Where are you getting the extra parts?

I’ve run out of parts and kit decals.

Getting close….

Today. I went back to working on the Hawker Hunter FGA-9, after I painted the tracks for the T-72M-1 also gave it a coat of Mr Super Clear Matte, so while I’m letting that dry, resumed work on the FGA-9, closed up the landing gear bay. sanded a couple of places, filled in a crack that I found. Mostly though. I masked off the upper fuselage areas in preparation for painting the undercarriage.

While waiting for materials to arrive, I got after things I didn’t want to do - installing “glass”, adding running lights, and making mirrors:

As this rig is unusually wide, the mirrors project pretty far outward from the cab. I kept what I could of some kit parts and extended as needed, then added the bracing framework. The framework is based on photos, and made of phosphorous bronze wire, which is strong and stays in place when glued.
So, on we go :man_mechanic:

Cheers
Nick

Filled in and sanded all the location holes for the tools.

I will carve the clasps off the Tamiya tools and will be using MJ Miniatures 3D printed tool clasps.

I also started adding the PE.

The track length is just a place holder until I get all the brackets glued. I have Masterclub tracks for this kit.

I’m also adding T Rex 3D tow cable ends and a T Rex 3D fire extinguisher.

I used an Orange Hobby 75mm L70 barrel.

LOL You should see the SWS ( super wing series) F-4EJ Phantom, thiers just as many if not more. But that’s looking pretty good.

I glued the 1:35 M2Combat Car together. This is the latest Vargas Scale Models 3D printed resin kit. The fit was excellent. The tracks and running gear dropped into place on the first test fit. I’m building this as Patton’s ride as seen on the cover of Life Magazine. The Patton figure is from the Masterbox Generals of WW2 set.

Looks superb unpainted, the finished build will be a stunner, I’m sure.

Work of the last days on my M48 was at the turret which is finished now, except for the hand rails. I will add them late in the build because of some decals first. One of the hand holds of a jerry can went missing, so I made one from Evergreen as good as I can. Had not much trouble during the build so far. Painting will be done in the next days.
