Ready at 04.50 .
That is wicked! Straight out of Mad Max.
@Killnoizer Gerrit, the idea, design and execution of the racer is outstanding, better than may professionally done sci-fi props just in big budget movies, TV shows and streaming programs.
Well Done!
That design woukd fit perfectly with Border Model’s Apocalypse model line.
Looks ready to go Tesla hunting on the interstate…wink.
Thank you all , very nice if you like that … I wanna make some more in different designs the next time ,
I have around a dozen of 262 kits ordered .
Hahaha, no way, I thought it was 1/35
Sehr schön!
Def one of the coolest, “aircraft kitmashed into a land vehicle with a chip on its shoulder” !
I’d like to show you my nice double D’s:
Most of the basic construction is over except for the tracks, which are individual links that have to be cut and cleaned.
Going to do the bridge for the second tank as a separate unit for painting purposes if possible as it will be pretty difficult to get everything covered with my AB with it all folded up.
These two kits add 50% to the number of Panzer II’s I have built so far.
That would be interesting to follow. I have this kit in my stash, waiting for me to have time.
I’m not sure, when I will start this monster. Because I’ve got about 15 unfinished models… This box was one of two physically appeared in my local store,I was really surprised with that. And decided to buy untill someone done that
Me too, too many started and not finished …
Progress on Green Archer repairs
Some touch up and clear to get back where I was in November.
Also knocked together this MR models Bundeswehr Trägerfahrzeug-Rechnerverbund Artillerie M113 (Artillery Computer Network carrier) with a bunch of 3D Micro Cosmos parts instead of the chunky and difficult resin pieces.
pictures for discussion purposes only (top right)
Took about six hours including base coat and was exclusively assembled with BLACK STAR BOND, my new favorites adhesive. /Hat Tip @SSGToms
I need some M113 therapy after the Pershing missile build and have these lined up ready to go:
apologies in advance for misspelling anything German, it’s probably a combination of fat fingers and ignorance
Finally added all the hull Zimmerit to my Academy Panzer IV Ausf. H.
Had to do a bit of trimming and fitting to go around the spare tracks that i wounded before adding the zimmerit. Nothing too complicated, but save yourself the aggravation by just adding the spare tracks AFTER applying the zimmerit.
I also changed the decal solution I’m using from Tamiya Mark Fit to Micro Sol. Incredible difference; you can tell by looking at the zimmerit applied to the turret (using Tamiya Mark Fit) and the hull (using Microscale Micro Sol)
Painting the base color, then will paint a top coat of white and light gray for the winter wash camo, then use some black and brown washes to “dirty up” everything.
More to come.
Al, if you need help with the german language, just ask. There are some Germans jumping around this forum who can help. Great work on your M 113! We used to call them Keksdose (cookie tin) sometimes …
Great work on your P4 also!
My M48 is slowly reaching the finish line. Turret is mostly done and painted, only the hand rails are still missing …
… and some first test fitting …
A few parts are still missing and a bit of detail painting but I hope everything is done by the end of next week. This kit has only a handful of decals, not like the hundreds for my aircraft …
Btw., what colours had the head light of the early M48? Is clear and Blue correct and what was the meaning for the blue lamp?
I fixed the spelling for the (hold on tight now …):
TrgFzRechnVbuArt
Trägerfahrzeug Rechnerverbund Artillerie
When the abbreviation is only half as long as the full designation …
Ze Germans …
I assumed that finding the ‘ä’ would take some time and my Swedish keyboard
has those strange å ä ö letters …
