Thanks for the assist!
@BlackWidow , thanks for the encouragement.
I think I’ve built damn near every US M113 variant and several many IDF versions and some really obscure other ones.
It’s time to expand into the Bundeswehr M113s.
And the goal is to build 113 different variants?
And when you’re done with the Bundeswehr, you can carry on with our danish friends. They had also lots of them. Here in the Tank Museum in Oksbøl … (Alt and 155 = ø)
Thanks but I actually have three of them.
I made some progress on my 1/35 BF 109 from Border.

Have you built one of these?
Canadian TLAV MTVL.
@Armorsmith , I figured but I thought I’d ask before I tossed it. It’s a vintage piece these days.
Not yet @Barney
This long strange trip with the Radarpanzer Green Archer is nearly endend. Dry brushing with oil pastels is about all that’s left. Recap:
I spend most time of my youth near Bergen / Munster / Celle , today the biggest interational training ground in Germany , and the M113 was like a natural part of the landscape, so many of them where all around ( also canadian and US ) . I loved the tank !
Yesterday the Red Baron was washed with Valejo and signed with decals .
Maybe this will help for your M48 headlamps:

I usually paint one black.
Hi, nice mat with T-34 blueprint on it. Where did you get it? Or what brand is it of?
I forgot the name of the website, but it is/was one of the sponsors/ads on armorama. (If that is the same cutting mat that I remember)
Thanks, Al! That’s helpful. I will paint the lamp gloss black. That should work for me.
M113 therapy, continued.

This sure ain’t a PSM or Panzer Shop resin kit…
The Canadian TLAV MTVL is an altogether different 113. It is longer, more HP, more armour, a 6th road wheel and an all rubber track. The tracks had issues in Afghanistan with the rocky terrain and were easily damaged.
Outer ones are always white light; the inner ones are blackout drive.
