Lot’s of distractions this weekend, have made a bit of progress.

More work on the Fahrpanzer.
Also clean up on my Tamiya 911 Turbo. Lots of wet sanding to fix a number of spots I messed up after removing the mold lines and adding primer the first time. Resprayed the whole model with black Mr Surfacer 1500. Done messing with the body, it will be what it will be going forward. Was going to spray it X-11 but might pivot to TS-17 and be done with body color.
On my 5” turret, resprayed the decal area after messing that up with the decal removal. Added a gloss coat this time to the area. After I add the decals, I will gloss coat the whole model and add a wash and medium weathering.
I startet the engine of the 1/16 jagdpanther, a lot of parts, very detailed. It will take some weekends, my only time for that and I’m not very fast. Also sure, the girlfriend finds something else to do…Have a nice week

Unusually productive day for me. Since my KC Chiefs handled business last weekend and the current bunch of NASCAR drivers minus a couple of guys just dont interest me, i fired up the air brush. Finished the tri coat on the TPz1 from Revell, Marder 1A2 from Tamiya. Played around w the OD trying for the faded look on the M32 (Testors kit), M4A3 from Tamiya (lots of work on this one to bring it to life) and Tamiya’s M42 Duster (built it when i was a kid, nostalgia build w lots of scratch trying to make it not such a dog). And finally on the homestretch on the Stug III Ausf B w extensive PE and im pretty happy with it. Alot of these just need final paint but still a full afternoon. Our local club is having a winter get together so hoping by next Saturday night that I’ll have these in a better place to show them off.
Ps sorry for the so so quality of the pic’s, working on the fly.
Took a 12 hours flight and indulged myself (with SWMBO by my side) in the sun and fun/rum of La Habana…
Cheers,
Angel
Finished main painting on one of my Wildcats and demasked most of it on the weekend …
Now follows detail painting and some touch ups before I can start with the decals.
Early this morning or late last night…
…been stuck running errands and in kitchen today…1 to 1 scale Shepard Pie w/Hot Italian Sausage
…yes that’s a bad Zimmerit pattern on top…this is after weathering
Shepard Pie… YUM!
Completed assembly of the Magach. Hope to get some photos before it hits the paint shop.
Haven’t had much workshop time lately. I did mange to get a second coat of primer on the Green Archer.
I also had time to screw around with the recovery cable mounting on the side of the IDF M548 Alpha. I also made the bumpers for the split tailgate out of scrap photo etch and Evergreen rod.
A bit of my day job - I’m currently pushing an architectural model to the finish line. It’s a small lakeside cabin and today I drew up and cut the latticework ‘skirt’ that encircles the bottom of the deck. The laser did an excellent job of engraving and cutting the material. It’s a .018” thick resin-impregnated paper product that cuts and glues and paints beautifully. Scale is HO train scale so figures and vehicles are readily available if needed.

A sample cut compared to a stock commercial part.
The parts drawn to match the grade being cut.
A sample in place around the deck.
A screen photo of the laser control software.
Haha looove the re-purposed Cat machinery! Perfect!

Our mad scientist strikes again.
I’m really in the weeds with this ridiculous thing.
Base color on the Green Archer. Not much different than the primer.
Taught high school Biology.
I think your cable management fittings look great!
