Cleaned an Enfield P53
Very sharp. The camo is nice, too. The cables came just in time!
Got the shurzen mountings all on (lots of cleanup) and glued on all sorts of little final greeblies. Glued the wheels together (hardly any cleanup). It’s ready for paint!
Matt, that’s a sharp looking build!
Any surprises during construction?
I just wish my building area looked that neat and clean!
Oh, and the model is looking good too!
Looks great unpainted.
Almost makes me want to get one.
Wade, it’s a Tamiya. No issues, just a little Mr. Surfacer in the weld seams.
Thanks Cory, it’s usually neater!
Thanks Ryan. Add one more to the stash! It’s a sweet build you’ll really enjoy.
Hahaha I can’t see the model!
It’s there. Only i can find it, but it’s there!
I like the way you think. It has given me an idea.
“Who needs sunlight when I could have paint racks.”
I need to do this.
Building up great Matt. Tamiya are nice for a good straight build without any major headaches.
maybe……
Working on the M109A2, I’d like to leave the ammo rack doors open, but I cant mount the gun in a firing position, as the mounting structure is seized solid. Would leaving the doors open be reasonable?
I can still open the blinds. They can either be opened fully, behind the rack, or just turned open in place. My room is actually quite large, but I wanted my paint close to the paint booth. Across the window was the most logical place i could come up with. I also have two shop lamps over head plus the adjustable arm lamp. I do like to have some light!
Neat and sharp!
